Plants are a very useful gift given to us by nature, which help in purifying the air and producing oxygen. Indoor plants come in different variety. You can start with planting Areca Palm, Mother in Law Tongue (Snake Plant) and Money plant (Devil’s Ivy). These 3 plants are very easily to maintain and can easily survive in medium room light and only require watering 2-3 times in a week. Another important plant is Tulsi, which is very effective in absorbing negative energy. Tulsi is a little hard to maintain, as it requires regular care, watering, enough sunlight and cannot survive in extreme winters. Generally 2 to 3 big size indoor plants or 4 to 5 small size plants are sufficient to clean the air completely in a medium size room and produce maximum calming effect on humans. The best place to keep the plants is near windows, where they can get some direct or indirect sunlight. Some pets (dogs and cats) might be allergic to some plants, but for humans the indoor plants have completely found to be safe.
